PTEC is a public higher education institution in Cambodia whose core responsibilities include teacher education and professional development, particularly for primary and lower-secondary teachers.

Bachelor+1 is a one-year teacher education pathway for applicants who have already completed a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification that meets the requirements specified in the relevant framework.

The pathway develops professional teaching competencies through education studies, subject knowledge, curriculum studies, practicum, and research.

The primary Bachelor+1 framework specifies a completed bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with at least 120 higher education credits, or Level 6 of the Cambodia Qualifications Framework. The lower-secondary Bachelor+1 framework also specifies a completed bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with at least 120 credits.
